Now available are the Psilocybe Mexicana Galindoi Spores, belonging to the species Psilocybe Mexicana Galindoi, categorized as a psychedelic/hallucinogenic mushroom. These spores require moderate cultivation effort and thrive best in substrates such as enriched soils and equine dung pastures, within a subtropical temperature range of 65-80 degrees, ideally between 75-78 degrees. Originating from Huautla de Jiménez, Mexico, this strain was first discovered by renowned mycologist Gastón Guzmán. There's often confusion about its name due to its history, initially thought to be Psilocybe Atlantis. Consequently, it's incorrectly referred to as Psilocybe ATL#7 or Psilocybe Galindoi ATL#7, but the correct names are Psilocybe Galindoi or simply Galindoi. Similar to Psilocybe Mexicana Jalisco, Galindoi is known for producing Psilocybin-enriched sclerotia, also known as “magic truffles.” These sclerotia are hard nuggets of fungal mycelium that act as a food reserve and survival mechanism, enabling the fungi to withstand adverse conditions and regenerate mycelium when conditions improve. Notably, Galindoi is one of the best Psilocybin mushroom sclerotia producers, predominantly found in Mexico's Pine-Oak forests with fruiting occurring from May to October.
